I accidentally recorded 2 appointments on the same note, what can I do?
Change the note to a Multi-Pet SOAP, and regenerate it (blue button)
If you thought you were starting a new note, but accidentally added to an existing note, the resulting note will be a bit of a mess.
Not to worry, there are a couple of ways to handle it.
Regenerate it as a Multi-Pet SOAP
Assuming you have already submitted it, navigate to the Portal (https://app.talkatoo.com), find the note in your inbox. At the top, change it from the current note type to Multi-Pet SOAP and click the blue Regenerate button.

Use the Dictation Assistant
If you do this but find that there are still inaccuracies in one or both of them that simple edits cannot resolve, there is another, albeit slightly more involved way to clean it up. This other option is to find the transcript at the bottom, and select and copy the relevant part of one of the transcripts, then open the Assistant in the Talkatoo Desktop app.
In the Assistant, you can use the built in SOAP prompt, and paste the transcript there to have it generate a new note. If you've never used the assistant before, you can learn more about it here.
Once you are happy with the newly-generated note text, you can use one of these 2 buttons that become visible when hovering over a piece of the conversation:
![]()
The top button will copy the text, so you can paste it directly into your PMS.
The bottom button will create a note in your inbox of the text, similar to a regular note, which you can then edit if needed, and copy and paste into your PMS.
You can then repeat the process with the other half of the transcript to create a note for the other patient.
