# How do I setup and use my Philips SpeechMike?

## Philips SpeechMike SMP series configuration

This article has now been deprecated.  The information in it is still accurate, however the newest version of Talkatoo (2.1.0) automatically integrates the SpeechMike and no longer requires using the Philips Device Control Center..  If you need more customization options, then this article will still be helpful.   Otherwise it's recommended to refer to [this article](https://support.talkatoo.com/knowledge/simple-new-way-to-use-your-speechmike-with-talkatoo?hsLang=en) instead.
